Thomas Trengove is an American artist living and working in New York City. He has been working in photography for over 40 years.
He engages with subjects as diverse as game arcades and flowering cherry trees. He brings a personal, perhaps oblique perspective to his subjects which imbues them with whimsical, arcane and unforeseen qualities. Regardless of subject, his work is characterized by careful composition, layered, juxtaposed images and sensuous color.

His work is in the collections of corporations such as Goldman Sachs and Prudential Insurance as well as private collections.
Archival pigment prints are available of each of the images on this website. To inquire about prints, please use the contact form.
